Background Information:

Certain line items within the General Purpose School Fund budget for the 2012 – 2013 fiscal year need to be amended to more closely reflect actual expenditures. Salary line items, including benefits, are of particular interest to auditors; therefore, this amendment brings actual expenditures for salaries and benefits, as well as other items, within budgeted line items. There is no new money involved; therefore, this amendment is for Board approval only.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the above noted budget amendment to the 2012 – 2013 fiscal year budget for the General Purpose School Fund.
